The Railway Carriage – Theater to Treno sto Rouf is the only cultural complex in the world that operates in train carriages. It has been operating since 1997 and consists of 9 renovated carriages that function as a theater stage, music stage, restaurant, foyer, bar, dressing rooms and auxiliary spaces. Among the carriages is a “Greek Wagon”, an original 1924 Orient Express Wagon Restaurant and a 1947 Brenda-type museum locomotive, making it a spacious monument to Greece’s cultural and industrial history.
